1. Brief introductionThe EPIC four-channel pulverized coal burners (called EPIC burners below) are new products according the technical data in both cold state and thermal state experiments, based on three-channel burners at home and abroad. The products concentrate the advantages of congener products in the world, be applicable to rotary cement kiln in cement industry.
The product has a character of less percentage of primary air, higher burning thrust. Enhance velocity of jet flow. Intensify the mixing of the pulverized coal and the secondary air. Low ignition energy of pulverized coal. Avoid imperfect combustion in maximum. Reduce unnecessary heat loss.

2. Technology Advantages1.Easier flame shape adjustment: Different proportions of inner flow and out flow and jet shape can be adjusted steplessly in a wide range in the condition of a certain air volume. Then flame shape can suit for any case.
2.Less fuel consumption: less primary air volume, and axial flow and whirl flow can be adjust in an optimal proportion, help for economical combustion of the coal. So EPIC burner can reduce coal consumption efficiently.
3.More widely applicability to coal: low volatile coal and blind coal also be available, adjust pulverized coal fineness(generally the percentage of 0.08mm sieve residue 0.5~0.75 to percentage of volatile) according the percentage volatile of the coal.
4.Lower NOX emission: there is an oppose-pressure zone in the head of the burner which avoid the forming of parcel high temperature. It was reduced 20~30% to the value before, the emission can measure up the national emission criterion.
